Michael Grech graduated as Doctor of Laws in 1999, following which he furthered his studies at University College, London where he obtained a Master of Laws degree in Maritime and Intellectual Property Law. He was called to the Bar in 2000 and soon after joined the Firm as an associate. His practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law, including the representation of several local and multi-national clients in brand protection and anti-counterfeiting measures. He also assists the firm’s commercial and corporate department, has been involved in a number of listings of financial instruments on the Malta Stock Exchange and, more recently, has been part of the Firm’s team on privatization matters.
