George Hyzler was called to the Bar in 1980 after finishing his studies in European law at the University of Amsterdam. He is a founding partner of GVTH, and has recently returned to the Firm after serving as a Parliamentary Secretary responsible for Competition including Mergers, Intellectual Property, Consumer Protection and the postal services. He is credited with contributing significantly to Malta's film servicing industry. He is a director of a number of companies and has served as Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Chamber of Advocates for a number of years.
