Commercial practice constitutes the backbone of the firm’s work and all members of the firm are deeply involved in all areas of commercial practice. GVTH advises clients on diverse matters at all stages of their commercial transactions. Our work in this field further encompasses a vast spectrum of commercial activities that includes: commercial agreements, franchising, contract negotiation, procurement agreements, construction projects, and international trading matters.

The Corporate department is actively involved in the privatisation process embarked upon by the Maltese Government. The department focuses on all aspects of company law and advises clients on company formation, mergers and acquisitions, take-overs, as well as liquidation. GVTH works in close collaboration with a number of leading International and European law firms in advising clients on their international corporate needs, and our client base range in size from true start-ups to well-established businesses in a wide variety of industries including technology, pharmaceutical, hotel chains, construction and telecommunications.
