Situated in two adjacent town-houses in Valletta, GVTH is the product of a merger between a number of leading law firms in Malta. The firm is currently composed of fourteen lawyers who are supported by a team of administrative staff. The core areas of practice are Commercial and Corporate, Civil, Intellectual Property and ICT, and Financial and Investment Services but each member of the firm is encouraged to specialise in a particular field or fields. All members of the firm are fluent in three languages, namely Maltese, English and Italian, and may also conduct business in French and German.

In recent years GVTH has been actively involved in the privatisation process undertaken by the Government of Malta where it has acted for the Government as well as for private investors. The firm has, additionally, also advised on some of the largest capital investment projects that have taken place in Malta in recent times.

GVTH-affiliated companies are Juris Ltd. and International Trust Limited both of which provide ancillary services to clients. The firm is also the local correspondent of a number of multinational law firms, and also enjoys a good professional relationship with the local representatives of the Big Four auditing firms.
