Graduated from the University of Malta in 2004 and was called to the Bar in 2005, during which year she also completed her Magister Juris in European and Comparative Law with distinction from the University of Malta. During her Magister Juris she pursued courses in Business Enterprise Law, EU Judicial Protection, Competition Law, Intellectual Property Law, Labour Law, and Environmental Law. She has also obtained a certificate in Trust Law and Administration with distinction after completing a course held by the Malta Institute of Financial Services Practitioners (IFSP) in 2004. Stephania joined the law firm Grech, Vella, Tortell & Hyzler Advocates as an Associate in 2004. She practises mainly in Labour Law, Civil Law and Commercial Law and litigation, and in advising and directing clients on European Union legislation issues, particularly Competition Law issues.
